What size do Amazon product images need?
Amazon recommends images at least 1000px on the longest side for zoom, with a maximum of 10000px. The 2000px preset works well for most listings.
What is the difference between Cover and Contain?
Cover fills the target size and crops the excess, keeping the frame full. Contain fits the whole image inside and pads the rest with a background color.
Will resizing reduce image quality?
Downscaling is done with the browser's high-quality image smoothing. Exporting as PNG keeps full quality; JPEG and WebP use an adjustable quality setting.
